Liuzong Zhou, Principal

Liuzong Zhou, PhD, PE, A+, Network+, has over twenty years of progressive experience in civil engineering. Mr. Zhou earned his bachelor’s degree on Hydraulic Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, P.R. China. Dr. Zhou started his career in research and shifted to industry afterwards. He is a professional engineer registered in California and is experienced in design and planning of water and sewer conveyance, storage and pumping; flood plain encroachment study; storm drain planning and design; storm water quality management; and grading and street improvement. Mr. Zhou is known as a water resources engineer capable of solving complex engineering problems in Pacific West. His innovative design concepts in civil engineering and ultimate quality control theory have earned him a good reputation in the industry. Liuzong has worked extensively with developers and water districts on drainage planning, stormwater management, infrastructure improvements and land development projects. Dr. Zhou is also a certified CompTIA A+ and Network+ professional. He is capable of providing various PC consulting services.

Prior to founding Terra Hydra, Liuzong spent eight years in subsurface hydrology and environmental study as a research assistant/engineer for Institute of Soil Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.R. China, four years in Louisiana State University to pursue his doctorate degree, over eight years in civil engineering industry.
