Tennis Court Addition - Winner of 2010 Outstanding Private Sector Civil Engineering Project by ASCE MLAB

Project Highlights: The difficulties of this project lie in three aspects. First, it is located in a restricted use area. Second, it is located in a downhill site. Third, the soil is expansive due to clay content. Innovative design concepts embodied provide a new design paradigm for similar projects. Compared with similar projects without involvement of engineer in construction, the quality of this project is superior, whiich sets an example of using construction management in owner/developer projects. The stairway shown was built while it was being designed in field.
